About the Role:

SecurityScorecard is looking for an experienced and results-driven Product Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of cybersecurity and supply chain risk. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in positioning and communicating the value of SecurityScorecard’s core and emerging products. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of product marketing experience in the cybersecurity space and a proven track record of marketing technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a remote role that offers the opportunity to shape product messaging, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop strategies that drive customer adoption and market growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Industry Expertise:
    Develop a deep understanding of cybersecurity and supply chain risk concepts, tools, and methodologies. Leverage this expertise to shape the messaging and positioning of SecurityScorecard’s products.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging:
    Create clear, concise, and compelling product positioning that differentiates SecurityScorecard’s solutions in the market. Translate complex technical features into tangible benefits for both technical and business audiences.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including sales, product management, and marketing) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement plans.
  • Sales Enablement:
    Equip the sales team with the necessary tools and resources, including sales presentations, training materials, and product messaging, to effectively communicate the value of SecurityScorecard’s offerings to prospects.
  • Market Analysis & Research:
    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Use insights from research to inform product marketing strategies and ensure the product’s competitive edge.
  • Content Creation:
    Develop high-quality marketing collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, presentations, and website content that clearly communicate the benefits and value of SecurityScorecard’s solutions.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the product management team, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure product marketing strategies align with broader company goals and revenue objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of product marketing experience, specifically within the cybersecurity industry.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and supply chain risk concepts.
    • Proven ability to develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skills:
    • Results-oriented with a fast-paced mindset and the ability to execute marketing initiatives quickly.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
    • Strong market analysis skills, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
    • Ability to create impactful content (whitepapers, case studies, presentations, etc.) that effectively communicates product benefits.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

The total compensation (base + bonus) for this role is $135,000 OTE. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. Employees may also be eligible for equity and other company benefits.
